Samsung Galaxy J7 needs to hard reset for many reasons like the system is not functioning well, hang-up in logo, boot loop or forgotten password. 1. Power off your phone by long pressing the power button for about a seconds.
2. When the Samsung Galaxy J7 is completely powered off, together hold the volume plus (+) and home key button (long press) then press the power button.
3. Wait until your phone boot up and you see the Samsung Galaxy J7 logo and release the power button.
4. You will now see the android logo then redirected to the recovery menu.
5. In the recovery menu, select wipe data/factory reset by using the volume keys to scroll and press the power button to select.
6. In the another menu, use again the volume keys to highlight the words Yes -- delete all user data.
7. Press the power button to select.
8. There should be a process in wiping your Samsung Galaxy J7. Wait until the process is completed.
9. Then select Reboot system now.
